You’ve been working hard all day and now it’s time to relax. Why settle for a drink you can get anywhere when you can enjoy the hyper-local beer, wine, and spirits menu at Templeton’s Tavern? As it turns out, there are enough breweries, wineries, and distilleries within 100 miles of Spider Mountain to fill a bar and have you trying something new with every sip.

my boyfriend and I stayed in an RV here this past weekend, and are already planning a trip back to stay in a container! this place is truly a hidden gem. the location is amazing and Templeton’s was so much fun! my boyfriend actually said the wings were the best he has ever had!

We love Container City! We went with our son and dog and immediately felt like we were on vacation in the countryside! The place itself was well-appointed and comfortable with a cool rooftop deck for stargazing. We were even able to cook breakfast and lunch there. There were lots of fun things to do nearby, including going for a dip at the lake and riding the lift at Spider Mountain. The food at Templeton‘s Tavern, on the property, was delicious, the staff were all friendly and the whole scene was a blast! To top it all off, there’s a pickleball court! We can’t wait to return to this fantastic spot!

Stayed here in cabin #6 for the first time last weekend & LOVED it!! What a unique, fun & awesome concept. The shipping container cabins are beautifully decorated & have everything. Very well appointed & the beds are super comfortable. Love that Templeton’s Tavern is on site too as they have fantastic food & drinks – great buffalo wings & one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. The staff is so kind & helpful providing excellent service. If you want a true hill country feel & vibe this is the place for you. Check it out as this is hidden gem!!
